The Chado Mod V2 is inspired by Chad’s love of the mountains and celebrates his background in Landscape Architecture. The tama features a topographic design of elevation lines, depicting an overhead view of a mountain as seen on a map. Surrounding the bevel is a laser-engraved compass complete with a North arrow, a nod to the fundamental role of directional markers in Landscape Architecture, where every map must include one. Tracking also played a major role in the design, influencing the use of a half-split tama with two highly contrasting colors for clear visual distinction.
The ken features the Kendama Co Shenzhu Shape, Chad’s personal favorite. Front and center is the Chado Mod logo, while the Sol and KenCo logos are evenly distributed around the back side of the handle. The matte paint finish offers something new from the original Chado Mod V1, which was exclusively available in sticky.
